About Us

A Squared Interactive was founded by Chad Wiebesick, a nationally-recognized award-winning digital marketing strategist. Chad has judged interactive award shows, presented at conferences throughout the Midwest, moderated panel discussions, published articles in national magazines, served as President and on boards of professional organizations, and won accolades for his professional achievements.

Chad has successfully planned and executed branding and direct response digital campaigns for dozens of clients. Tactics have included social media / Web 2.0, search engine marketing (SEM and SEO), viral marketing, display advertising, rich media, behavioral targeting, online video, performance-based advertising, affiliate marketing, email, newsletters, webinars, and more.

Chad’s work and contributions have earned industry recognition and awards. He was named one of America's interactive Rising Media Stars by OMMA Magazine, the leading publication for online media, marketing, and advertising professionals. Chad was also heralded by Media Magazine as a Top-3 national finalist in their "Creative Media Awards" competition.

Chad Wiebesick spearheaded and marketed a grassroots movement to support the City of Ann Arbor's effort to bring Google Fiber to Ann Arbor. Google Fest launched in 4 days with a flash mob of hundreds of people, all organized via social networking. More than 1,700 people RSVP'd for Google Fest, resulting in national coverage through The New York TimesThe Economist, Associated Press, Channel 2 Fox News Detroit, and more.

He is a blogger and published writer, including writing an editorial on digital strategy for Website Magazine, the nation's largest-circulated magazine for web professionals.

Chad is also a sought-after public speaker in Chicago and Metro-Detroit. He has spoken at numerous industry events and conferences with audiences exceeding 100 people, presenting to nationally-known organizations such as Search Engine Strategies and American Business Media.

He curently serves as President of the Ann Arbor Ad Club, an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation. He also served on the board of 313 Digital, a 750-member professional organization for interactive marketers in Michigan.
